West Central claims DakXII softball tournament

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The DakXII Conference Tournament was played on Monday, with eleven teams battling for the title of conference tourney champs.

Ten games were played throughout the day.

West Central notched a narrow 1-0 win over Madison to advance to the title game. Dell Rapids earned a 6-3 win over Tea Area to do the same.

However, the championship game quickly turned into a shootout.

The Trojans would go on to claim at 15-11 win.
