Brandon Valley walks off Tea Area to advance to semis

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A seventh inning single from Jackson Adams helped Brandon Valley tally a walk-off win over Tea Area in the class ‘A’ state quarterfinals.

The Lynx nabbed a 4-3 win to advance to the state semifinals.

Tea Area scored two runs on an Ethan Vis double in the third. The Titans led 2-1 at that point.

However, Brandon Valley responded with two runs in the home half of the inning, to build a 3-2 lead.

Vis would triple in a run in the seventh to send the game into a tie.

However, Adams one out single would be the difference as it scored Aiden Zerr to give the Lynx a 4-3 win.

Brandon Valley will now face Lincoln in the semifinals on Saturday.
