SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Kasen Christianson was electric on Saturday, leading the Lincoln baseball team to a 7-0 win over Harrisburg in the class ‘A’ state championship.

The left-handed pitcher threw a complete game, one hit shutout, while striking out eight in the victory.

The Lincoln offense helped out their pitcher with five runs in the second inning. That included a two RBI single from Kooper Perry and an RBI single from Chase DuBois.

Two more runs were scored in the fourth to build the seven run lead.

That was enough for the Patriots to cap off a perfect 3-0 weekend at the state tournament. They outscored their three opponents 25-4.

Ryan Hirsch, Sawyer Mindt and Sawyer Tolk each had two hits in the win.
