    Kloth’s Olympic journey ends in knockout match

    SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) — Taryn Kloth’s Olympic journey ended Monday in Paris, France.

    Kloth and Team USA fell to Team Canada 2-0 (21-19,21-18) in a Round of 16 match.

    Kloth’s Olympic stardom inspires O’G volleyball

    Kloth and Kristen Nuss lost against Canada’s Brandie Wilkerson and Melissa Humana-Paredes. It was the first loss of the 2024 Olympics for Kloth and Nuss.

    The duo previously beat China, Australia, and Canada in pool play.

    Kloth and Nuss lost both sets losing 21-19 in the first and 21-18 in the second, after tying the match up 18-18.

    USA Volleyball posted “heartbreaker” on social media and added “We’re so proud of you, Taryn and Kristen!.)
