State Amateur Baseball brackets unveiled

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The brackets are set for the 2024 class ‘A’ and ‘B’ State Amateur Baseball tournaments, which begin later this week.

CLASS ‘A’

The class ‘A’ tournament begins August 9 with the first series of games being played in Brookings. The tournament will move to Mitchell later in the bracket.

CLASS ‘B’

Defending state champ in class ‘B’, Canova is set to play the ninth game on Friday and it’ll be a rematch of last year’s state title game as they drew a tough Lesterville team.

The class ‘B’ tournament begins Wednesday, August 7 with the championship set for Sunday, August 18. All games will be played at Cadwell Park in Mitchell.
