    Dimock-Emery advances to state semifinals

    MITCHELL, S.D. (KELO) — The Dimock-Emery amateur baseball team is headed to the state semifinals, following a 10-7 win over Larchwood.

    The two teams each reached the quarterfinal last season, but losses kept the two out of the semis.

    The Raptors were outhit 14-11 on Thursday, but they were still able to outscore the Diamonds.

    Jason Schmidt tallied three hits and an RBI, while Sam Pischke added a double and two RBI.

    Phil Johnson collected the win in relief, throwing 4.2 innings and allowing two runs.
