    SF Brewers punch ticket to Class ‘A’ amateur title game

    MITCHELL, S.D. (KELO) — The Sioux Falls Brewers secured their spot in the Class ‘A’ amateur baseball state championship with a pair of wins on Saturday.

    In the opener, the Brewers blanked Aberdeen 8-0. Sioux Falls plated one in the first, two in the third, three more in the fourth and the final two in the eighth.

    In the second game of the day, the Brewers knocked off the Sioux Falls Flying Squirrels 10-8. Trialing 6-1 in the sixth, the Brewers pushed six runs across to take the lead. They scored three more in the eighth to secure the win.

    Sioux Falls will now meet Renner, who had a bye into the title game, for the championship on Sunday ay noon.
