Strong start propels Viborg-Hurley past Canistota

CANISTOTA, S.D. (KELO) — The Viborg-Hurley football team used a 32 point start to claim a 40-20 win over Canistota on Friday.

The Cougars had a fast start, posting 32 points in the first half to build that lead. The Hawks scored right before halftime and trailed 32-8 at the break.

Canistota would outscore Viborg-Hurley 14-8 in the second half, but it wasn’t enough as the Cougars claimed a 40-20 win.
