Strong second half leads Dell Rapids past Madison

DELL RAPIDS, S.D. (KELO) — The Dell Rapids football team tallied their first win of the season with a 30-13 victory over Madison.

The Quarriers were the only team to score a touchdown in the first quarter, building a 6-0 lead.

Dell Rapids and Madison would then exchange a pair of touchdowns in the second quarter.

The Quarriers carried an 18-13 lead into halftime.

HIGHLIGHTS

Dell Rapids rolled with their halftime adjustments adding two touchdowns in the third quarter, while also shutting out the Bulldogs for the entire second half.

The Quarriers are now 1-1 on the season, while Madison also falls to 1-1.
