    Packers fall to Eagles in season opener in Brazil

    SAO PAULO (KELO) — The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Green Bay Packers 34-29 at Corinthians Arena Friday night in the first NFL game in Brazil.

    After a pair of Green Bay field goals in the first quarter, Saquon Barkley punched in the game’s first touchdown with an 18-yard catch from Jalen Hurts. The Packers answered with a 33-yard Jayden Reed 33-yard TD run.

    Barkley put the Eagles back on top before Reed reeled in a 70-yard TD pass from Jordan Love for make it 19-14 Pack.

    The Eagles outscored the Packers 14-7 in the third. The two teams traded field goals in the fourth.

    Love went 17-for-34 for 260 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Reed finished with 138 yards through the air on four catches and two total touchdowns.

    Hurts compiled 278 yards through the air with two TDs and two INTs. Barley posted 109 yards and two touchdowns on the ground and one through the air.
