    Cougar Soccer falls to Lincoln 1-0

    SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (USF) — Cougar Soccer fell to Lincoln University of Missouri in a tough 1-0 match today.

    USF forced 11 shots today with five shots on goal. Mara Nelson and Abby Flanagan each had two shots on goal for The Coo while Abby Whittington added one herself

    Ivanna Faris scored off a corner kick for the Blue Tigers in the 72nd minute ultimately sealing the win for Lincoln.

    Caroline Titze once again started in net for USF, recording seven saves.

    The Coo will hit the road to take on Rockhurst on Friday, September 13th at 6:30pm in Kansas City, Missouri. On September 15th they will take on Missouri Western State in St. Joseph, Missouri at noon.
