    9-man high school football game forfeited for injuries

    SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – There’ll be one fewer high school football game Friday night in South Dakota.

    Mountain lion population could be decreased in SD

    According to a social media post by the Colome Consolidated School District , Colome’s scheduled game against Corsica-Stickney on Friday will be “forfeited due to injuries.”

    Colome, which plays in Class 9B, has 13 players listed on its football roster, including two eighth-graders.

    The South Dakota High School Activities Association uses the “Average Daily Memberships” of schools for classifications. The ADM is based on enrollment for grades 9, 10 and 11 on the last Friday of September.
