    USF concedes late to fall against Minnesota Crookston

    SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (USF) — Cougar Soccer fell to Minnesota Crookston tonight 2-1.

    Each team took 12 shots during the match. USF had 4 shots on goal while UMC had 8.

    Julia Kreutner scored USF’s lone goal in the 40th minute off a Taylor Wit assist.

    Caroline Titze started in net for USF. Titze recorded six saves while playing the whole match. USF gave up two goals to Tessa VanOverbeke with her first coming in the 71st minute and her second coming in the 89th minute.

    USF had 3 corners in the game with all of them coming in the first half

    The Coo will again be at home for their next matchup. They will host Bemidji State on Sunday September 29 starting at 1:00PM. This will be USF’s Staff/Faculty appreciation game.
