    Lenards, Watertown sweep class ‘AA’ state golf

    WATERTOWN, S.D. (KELO) — Watertown’s Ty Lenards held off a surging Derek Andersen to claim the class ‘AA’ state championship on a playoff hole.

    Lenards shot -6 on Monday, but Andersen came roaring back Tuesday to put pressure on Ty.

    The two tied at -8 to force a playoff hole.

    Lenards tallied a birdie on the playoff hole to win the state championship.

    The Arrows also had success, shooting -7 for the tournament, to claim first place.
