Madison to host Lennox in Game of Week

MADISON, S.D. (KELO) — Second-ranked Lennox travels north to visit Madison in the KELOLAND Sports Game of the Week this Friday. Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m. on KELOXTRA and KELOLAND.com.

#2 LENNOX ORIOLES

Lennox is 5-1 on the season and has won three straight games — all by at least two scores. The Orioles rolled to a 44-16 victory at West Central last week. Their lone loss came against top-ranked Sioux Falls Christian 19-8 on Sept. 13.

Quarterback Boston Katzer has thrown for 1,415 yards and 17 touchdowns while completing 64% of his pass attempts. Tate Gerdes has registered 600 yards on the ground. Drake Mikkelsen has tallied 460 receiving yards.

MADISON BULLDOGS

Madison comes into the game 4-2. The Bulldogs picked up a 21-12 win over Tri-Valley last week. Prior to that, they fell to Sioux Falls Christian 42-0.

Cohen Hahn has tossed for 674 passing yards and seven touchdowns. Ben Brooks has rushed for 299 yards on 45 carries. Myles Schneider has hauled in 270 yards on 11 catches.

THE SERIES

This marks the third straight year these two teams are meeting. Lennox won last year 14-7.
