More state fraud arrests; Tim Johnson; Frost next week?

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Here’s Thursday’s KELOLAND On The Go.

South Dakota is mourning the loss of Tim Johnson, who represented the state in both the U.S. House and Senate. Johnson died from complications of a stroke.

His funeral will be next week on Friday, October 18th. It will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. KELOLAND News will have livestream coverage of the service.

Two more state employees have been indicted on fraud-related charges involving the South Dakota Department of Revenue.

We have more information about Colleen Monfore, whose body was reportedly found in a shark after going missing while on a diving trip off the coast of Indonesia.

Her friend, Bill Donavon, is still trying to wrap his head around her tragic death.
