BROOKINGS, S.D. (KELO) — The SDSU football team returns home to welcome in Youngstown State for their annual Hobo Day game, following their road win against Northern Iowa.

SDSU will play in their first home game in a while. As the Jacks gear up for their battle against the Penguins they’ll have to be weary of the team’s run heavy offense. One the team’s main rushers is quarterback Beau Brungard who will be going up against the best rushing defense in the Missouri Valley. Head coach Jimmy Rogers wants his team to be aware of the challenges on both sides of the ball.

“Great quarterback that has great speed, and we’re going to have to try to minimize what he can do on us, which is going to be a challenge in itself. And defensively, guys play together, guys play fast, and so if there’s room for mistake, they’ll capitalize on it defensively,” SDSU head coach Jimmy Rogers said.

The two teams will meet Saturday for a 2 P.M. kickoff in Brookings.
