Sioux Falls man indicted on grand theft charge in Lincoln County

SIOUX FALLS, S.D (KELO) — A Sioux Falls man has been indicted on one count of grand theft by exercising unauthorized control over the Lincoln County Fraternal Order of Police Union funds.

Attorney General Marty Jackley says 39-year-old Matthew Wilson was indicted on Wednesday. Wilson is facing a maximum sentence of five years in prison along with a $10,000 fine.

Jackley says the theft happened between July 2024 and September 2024. The theft of property involved was between $2,500 and $5,000.

A court date has not yet been set.
