    2 injured with gunshots in central SF Sunday

    SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO)–Two people were injured Sunday night after an incident in central Sioux Falls.

    On Sunday evening, police were called to the 1200 block of North Prairie Ave to a group of four people, where one person pulled a gun and accidentally shot himself in the leg, according to SFPD spokesman Sam Clemens.

    What qualifies as ‘self-defense’ under SD law

    The man told police he felt threatened and also shot another man in the leg. The man with the gun took himself to the hospital. The other person shot took himself to a different hospital. Both injuries were described as non-life threatening.

    “We were able to talk to both people involved and that’s where a difference in stories arises,” Clemens said at police briefing.

    No arrests have been made.
