SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — There’s no shortage of creativity at the 2024 KELOLAND Living Arts and Crafts Show. A sea of booths line the inside of the Ramkota Exhibit Hall, each with its own creative twist.

“A lot of the vendors here have a lot of the fun housewares and jewelry. I bought a couple of things,” shopper Pete Hillmer said.

It’s not just shoppers who are taking in the fun. Vendors, like Janet DeGraw, enjoy some friendly competition, but also getting to interact with one another.

“We have rice bags and we have Thai kitchen towels and we have Afghans. We have kitty cat tubes that the cats can play with, loaded with catnip, ready to go and we have little dryer balls. The list is long. We have a good variety here,” DeGraw said.

This isn’t the first year DeGraw’s participated. She owns JR’s Alterations & Crafts.

Hillmer said the show is always worth the visit.

“You get to chat with vendors, walk around, see all the cool art that people have. Even if you don’t end up getting anything for yourself, I think it’s a cool experience,” Hillmer said.

The event continues Saturday morning when doors open at 9. It costs $5 for adults to get in. Kids 12 and under are free. The event is held at the Ramkota Exhibit Hall in Northwest Sioux Falls.
