Firefighters Quick to Contain 5 Acre Wildfire West of Clarkston on Tuesday Morning
CLARKSTON - Firefighters from Asotin County Fire District #1 were called just after 3 a.m. Tuesday morning to a fire on Silcott Grade Road, about 5 miles west of Clarkston. Firefighters attacked the fire with hand crews and trucks and were able to contain the fire to about 5 acres. Firefighters cleared the scene by about 5:30 a.m.
