Kenilworth District 10 Little League Team to Challenge Clark in Playoffs

KENILWORTH, NJ - The Kenilworth District 10 Little League team has been working hard and the boys are prepared for the playoffs. This evening, Tuesday, July 2, the team will host Clark at 6 pm for the big game.

Recently, Kenilworth finished 4-2 in pool play on June 28, and earned the #2 seed overall.  One of the highlights from pool play on June 25, was Nico Condo pitching five innings and recording 15 strikeouts.

"The team's ultimate goal is to bring a district championship back to Kenilworth" Assistant Coach Joe Santangelo said. "The district tournament is one of many steps to get to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, where the little league world championship is held. The age group for the districts is 10-11-12."

The team is led by Head Coach Dan Orlando, and Assistant Coaches Ed Paster and Joe Santangelo. The tournament director for Kenilworth is Joe Kratzer.
