New Superintendent of Kenilworth Public Schools Announces Madelyn Pavelchak as Acting Principal of David Brearley

KENILWORTH, NJ - Please see the following message from Jeremy Davies, the new Superintendent of Kenilworth Public Schools, regarding the Acting Principal of David Brearley.

At last week's July Board of Education meeting, Madelyn Pavelchak was approved as Acting Principal of David Brearley Middle and High School. Ms. Pavelchak has successfully served as Brearley's Assistant Principal for the past 3 years, always having the best interests of students at the forefront of her decision-making. Ms. Pavelchak will lead the school while the District continues its search for the permanent principal of DBMHS.

The search process for principal is underway with an anticipated Board of Education approval of a finalist on August 12. Any candidate will most likely be held for an additional 60 days in a prior district; therefore, the anticipated start date for the permanent principal of DBMHS is on or before October 14.
