Car Strikes Side Of Tractor Trailer
SELMA – A tractor trailer attempting to turn from Baugh Road onto Buffalo Road in Selma was struck by a small Honda, just after 12 noon Friday. The car became pinned under the loaded truck, blocking both lanes of Buffalo Road, near the Highway 70 intersection. The 71-year old driver of the car was transported to an area hospital to be checked out.

Fayetteville Police responded Friday to a viral video that purported to show a K-9 officer hitting his dog.The video, taken June 23, sparked outrage on social media.It happened at the Walgreens at Village Drive and Owen Drive. 89 traffic violations after DWI checkpoint on Hope Mills Road in Fayetteville
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — The Fayetteville Police Department said that several people were charged after a DWI checkpoint on Hope Mills Road on Wednesday in Fayetteville. Police said that a total of 89 traffic and criminal citations were issued at the checkpoint. 22 people were charged with driving while license revoked, six people were charged with driving while impaired, one person was charged with felony possession of fentanyl, and one person was charged with possession of firearm by felon.
