This Pet Food Company Just Opened Its $450 Million Manufacturing Plant in This NC City

According to a new report published by Winston-Salem Journal, a pet food company just debuted its $450 million manufacturing plant in NC.

According to the report, Nestle Purina PetCare officially opened the plant in Eden on Tuesday, March 26. The facility is the former home of MillerCoors Brewery and has 1.3 million square feet of production space and sits on a 1,365-acre site.

Governor Roy Cooper released a statement saying "We continued to believe that the brewery in Eden could be used for a new manufacture and we are excited with this grand opening Nestle Purina is ready to make a new home in North Carolina with 300 new employees". According to the report, the average job would pay $42,053 a year.
