This TX-Based Warehouse in NC Will Be Shutting Down as Part of Its Bankruptcy

According to a report by Business NC, a TX-based warehouse in NC will be shutting down as part of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy process. According to the report, Conn's Appliances, located in Mebane, will close its doors and as a result will lead to 12 stores in NC shutting down.

The layoffs at the warehouse are expected to begin October 31, according to a filing with the N.C. Department of Commerce. In addition, a Conn's store in Burlington will be closing on Friday, September 27, according to the report.

The company is based in Houston and in July announced that it would close roughly 170 of its stores.
