According to a new report by WIS-TV, a major inaugural SC Country music festival set to take place next week has been postponed. According to the report, the organizers of the event that was supposed to take place in Fairfield was postponed due to Hurricane Helene.

The organizers of the event released a statement saying, "The damage from Hurricane Helene has been severe, with widespread flooding, downed trees, and blocked roads. Power is still out on site, deliveries have been delayed, and some areas of the festival grounds remain inaccessible".

The organizers added that the production team and site engineers told them that it would not be possible to have the event under those conditions. Anyone who bought tickets to the event will be able to use them for the rescheduled dates and refunds will be available as well. Artists who were set to perform included Eric Church, Lainey Wilson, Bailey Marie, and much more.
