This Chain Store Is Closing All of Its Locations This Month – Three Locations Are in SC

According to a new report by WBTV, a GA-based chain store is closing all its locations this month - three of them are in SC. According to the report, Salt Life, an apparel company, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June and will be selling all of its locations in several states.

The brand was started in 2003 by "four avid watermen from Jacksonville Beach, FL", and grew quickly over the years. One of the founders, Troy Hutto, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for killing an 18-year-old woman.

The locations in SC that will be closing this month include Bluffton, Charleston, and Myrtle Beach. All of the stores currently have 40% liquidation sales.
