According to a new report by 97 X, NC is home to two of the most expensive grocery stores in the nation. The first chain is Whole Foods, Which has 16 locations across NC and is known for its fresh produce, meats, and high-quality products.

Whole Foods was founded in 1980 and is widely known as one of the best grocery stores in the country when it comes to good quality. The second one is The Fresh Market. The Fresh Market was founded in Greensboro and has 21 locations spread across NC.

Much like Whole Foods, The Fresh Market is well-known for its fresh produce, meats, and high-end products that can't be found in most grocery stores.
