Wendy’s Plans To Close More Than 100 Locations by the End of This Year

A lot of fast-food chains have been hit hard this year, and it's no different with Wendy's. According to a new report by Eat This, Not That - the Dublin OH-based chain said that it plans to close more than 100 locations by the end of this year.

According to the report, during an earnings call in May, Wendy's CFO, Gunther Plosch, said that the fast-food giant had closed 27 locations at that point and planned to close more than 100 locations by the end of the year.

Although Plosch did not reveal the meaning behind the closures, he said, "We opened 35 restaurants. We had closures, it's all with our rhythm in our business".
