According to a new report by Denverite, Walgreens will be shutting down a location in the Denver metro. According to the report, Walgreens will shut down a location on Colfax Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard on November 12.

A spokesperson for the major pharmacy chain released a statement saying, "It is never an easy decision to close a store. We know that our stores are important to the communities that we serve, and therefore do everything possible to improve the store performance".

Walgreens has had a rough year. Tim Wentworth, the CEO of the chain, said in June that 25% of the company's stores were "underperforming" and that some of them would be shut down.
