SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -- Friday’s weather is looking very nice, even better than Thursday’s due to a lighter wind in the forecast. Overall, it looks like some great weather if you want to check out the Sioux Empire Fair or join us for Fridays on the Plaza this week! Over the weekend, there will be another chance for a few showers with highs sticking in the 70s for most of us. Rain chances will mainly be in western South Dakota on Saturday and then they’ll slowly move east for Sunday with highs warming slightly into the mid 70s.
Madison City Commission Approves Water Usage Agreement with the Minnehaha Community Water Corporation
The Madison City Commission has approved a water usage agreement with the Minnehaha Community Water Corporation. Madison began receiving water from the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System on August 2nd. The agreement with Minnehaha Community Water, who is also a Lewis & Clark member, would allow Madison to sell some of its allocation of water to Minnehaha Community Water, according to Madison City Engineer Ryan Hegg.
