(BOONE COUNTY, Mo.) A Missouri Lottery Scratchers player from Boone County, Mo. claimed a $50,000 prize on Monday, August 12, 2024. According to the MO Lottery, the winner purchased the scratcher at Steve-O's, located at 4600 Paris Road in Columbia, Mo. and coincidentally it was the player's first time participating in the 500K Scratchers game, which he chose for it's "fun" design.

Major Oil Opens 2 Joltz Convenience Stores in Missouri
Major Oil LLC, creator of the Joltz convenience store brand, has purchased two Cenex-branded retail locations in St. Elizabeth and Freeburg, Missouri, with the goal of achieving operational experience in the c-store sector. The openings are also a step in Major Oil’s intention to open as many as 500 of what it calls “convenience-store portable above ground stations” (CPAGs) across the United States. The sites would be automated, frictionless locations.
