    Thompson Hill Summit Home

    A huge home now under construction on the summit of Thompson Hill is catching some attention as the newest addition to the south Kennewick skyline.

    The 6,200-square-foot house has a construction value of $1.2 million, according to the building permit issued by the city of Kennewick.

    Jaspinder Dhillon is the owner. Takara Homes is the contractor for the home, being built as part of the seventh phase of the SouthCliffe development.

    The project includes 3,500 square feet on the main floor, 2,800 on the second and a garage and covered parking areas.

    New U Wome n’ s Clinic

    Excavation work has started on the future home of New U Women’s Clinic in in western Kennewick.

    The medical clinic and spa, led by Dr. Rachel Fidino, will feature an 11,200-square-foot, two-story clinic and an 8,300-square-foot retail plaza.

    The city of Kennewick finalized a building permit for the $2.5 million project in late July. It is expected to open in May 2025. Until then, New U is at 35 N. Louisiana St. in Kennewick.

    Rachel and Andrew Fidino of Fidino Enterprises LLC are the owners. Booth and Sons Construction is the contractor. WHL Architecture designed the project.

    Site preparation has started for the new home of Alisheva Law in Kennewick.

    Construction equipment has started sculpting the site of the future home of Alisheva Law near the Canyon Lakes neighborhood in Kennewick.

    The $1.7 million project is being built near Z Place Salon and Spa and the Zintel Canyon dam on the hillside off Highway 395 at the south entrance to the city.

    The project will feature an 11,650-square-foot office building with two floors and a roof deck.

    Aliya Alisheva and Justin Myre are the owners. Takara Homes is the contractor. DKEI Architecture designed the project.

    Workers are erecting a steel-framed building as part of the Amon Creek Mini Storage on Reata Road, near Leslie in south Richland.

    The project will include 17 buildings, including office space and 101,000 square feet of self-service storage space.

    The Amon project is part of the Storage Station network and is being built by Hummel Construction & Development for owner W-5 Investments LLC.

    MMEC Architecture & Interiors is the designer.

    Booth and Sons Construction is building a one-story, 5,000-square-foot pediatric medical clinic adjacent the Richland Smiles dental clinic in south Richland, across Keene Road from Yoke’s Fresh Market.

    The project has a construction value of $15 million, according to a building permit issued by the city of Richland.

    McDonald’s remodel

    101 Wellsian Way, Unit D

    One of three McDonald’s restaurants in Richland is closed for a comprehensive remodel.

    Building permits issued by the city of Richland indicate the existing restaurant is getting a $500,000 upgrade to its interior and exterior, as well as a new drive-thru.

    Associated Construction Inc. of Spokane is the contractor. PM Design Group designed the work. The property is owned by an arm of Fred Meyer parent Kroger Crop.
