Five arrested in Port Huron drug busts
Two recent investigations by the St. Clair County Drug Task Force led to five arrests and the seizure over 20 grams of methamphetamine and analogue pills, officials said. On Aug. 6, the DTF concluded an investigation into the sale of methamphetamine in the city of Port Huron with the execution of a search warrant at a residence on the 1000 block of 7th Street. Upon executing the warrant, Matthew Fields, 36, and Kaylee Rataj, 21, both of Port Huron, were located inside the residence and taken into custody. During the search, a dealer’s quantity of crystal methamphetamine, as well as analogue pills, packaging material and narcotics paraphernalia, were located.
