Milwaukee, WI – Southeastern Wisconsin will experience cooler temperatures and dangerous beach conditions today. The US National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan Wisconsin reports steady north-northeast winds will create high waves and a moderate swim risk for Racine and Kenosha County beaches. Waves are expected to reach 3-5 feet, with gusts up to 25 mph. High temperatures will range from the upper 60s to low 70s, with lows tonight dropping into the 40s.
Panel approves agreement for replacing Kenosha County's 60th Street emergency warning siren
The long-awaited replacement of Kenosha County’s 60th Street outdoor warning siren took a leap forward this week. The Public Works Committee on Monday unanimously approved a change to the lease agreement with the City of Kenosha that will allow the county to rebuild the siren on an easement at 6210 60th St. near Nash Park.
