First day in the books for 2024 WVGA Senior Amateur Championship at Stonewall Resort
Bryan Myers of Wheeling and Ian Patrick of Huntington tied for the lead in stroke play on the opening day of play in the Championship Division at the 2024 West Virginia Senior Amateur Championship, conducted by the West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA), at Stonewall Resort. Myers was aided by six birdies, while Patrick scored four birdies in the opening round. The Grayson Chamber of Commerce needs to know what local businesses – and their customers – most need from them. That request for feedback was a major theme when the chamber met last week (July 9) for their regularly scheduled monthly meeting. Chamber coordinator Mike Nelson reported that the chamber currently has 175 active members, with more expected to join in the coming months. But the chamber needs those members to be active and communicative in order to make the most of their membership.
Combs resigns as Grayson Tourism Treasurer
Grayson tourism board will need to find a new treasurer in the near future.
