    KENT COUNTY SHERIFF

    Apr. 24 Cpl P. Hudson conducted a traffic stop on Tolchester Road, Rock Hall. A K9 scan of the vehicle was conducted. Following a positive alert and subsequent search, Jacob Kenneth Tucker, age 44, of Chestertown was arrested and charged with controlled dangerous substance possession: not cannabis. Tucker was released after being issued criminal citations.

    Apr. 26 Cpl D. Nolan investigated a theft that occurred in the 11000 block of Kennedyville Road, Kennedyville. The victim reported that a catalytic converter was stolen from a 2010 Ford van parked on the property. Theft/damage valued in excess of $2000.

    Apr. 26 Cpl D. Nolan served a Kent County District Court Criminal Summons for theft $1500 to under $25000 on Jordan Francis Jester, age 28, of Rock Hall. Jester was released after signing for the summons.

    Apr. 27 DFC A. Freeman served a Cecil County District Court Bench Warrant for failure to appear on Jason Nathaniel Seago, age 39, of Chestertown. Seago was released by the District Court Commissioner on his own recognizance.

    Apr. 28 DFC C. Rhodes responded to the 23000 block of Baywood Court, Chestertown for a reported assault. The victim reported being assaulted by a known suspect. Investigation revealed that a mutual assault occurred between the two parties and they were referred to the District Court Commissioner for charges.

    Apr. 28 DFC F. Baker served a Kent County Circuit Court Bench Warrant for failure to appear on Elizabeth Ann Ramirez, age 44, of Rock Hall. During service of the warrant, Ramirez was found to be in possession of controlled dangerous substance: not cannabis and controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. Ramirez was issued criminal citations for the violations and held at the Kent County Detention Center without bond on the warrant.

    Apr. 28 DFC A. Freeman conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation on Williams Street, Rock Hall. A K9 scan of the vehicle was conducted and after a probable cause search of the vehicle was performed, DFC Freeman arrested De’Airres Tyler Somerville, age 35, of Rock Hall, Kaitlyn Ann Riley, age 18, of Rock Hall, and Colleen Marita Coleman, age 33, of Millington. Somerville, Riley, and Coleman were all issued criminal citations for possession of controlled dangerous substance:not cannabis and controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia and Riley and Coleman were released.

    Somerville was found to have an outstanding Kent County Circuit Court Bench Warrant for violation of probation. Somerville was held at the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

    Apr. 29 Following a traffic stop for a traffic violation on Johnson Avenue, Rock Hall, DFC C. Rhodes arrested Nicole Lynn Reedy, age 38, and Donzelle Lavante Orachis Sisco, age 66, both of Rock Hall. Reedy and Orachis were both issued criminal citations for possession of controlled dangerous substance:not marijuana and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia and released.

    Apr. 29 Cpl K. Griffitts served a Cecil County District Court Arrest Warrant for theft less than $100 on Michael Dale Schrader, age 45, of Smyrna, DE. Schrader was released by the District Court Commissioner on his own recognizance.

    Apr. 29 DFC D. Parent investigated an incident in which a known suspect sent obscene images to a minor in Rock Hall. This incident remained under investigation at the time of this report.

    Apr. 29 Lt Duhamell investigated threats of mass violence. The threats received indicated that a person intended to commit a shooting at a Kent County Public School. A 13-year-old from Rock Hall was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.

    Apr. 29 Cpl. P. Hudson performed a traffic stop of a vehicle for exceeding the posted maximum speed limit: 69 mph in a posted 55 mph zone on Rt. 291, Millington. Following a K9 scan by Cpl Lockerman and K9 Khari, a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. The search revealed amounts of suspected cocaine and crack cocaine indicative of an intent to distribute as well as an unregistered, illegal handgun. The suspect, Markevus Daquan Pulliam, age 31, of Smyrna, DE, was arrested and charged with seven controlled dangerous substance charges and ten firearms charges. Pulliam was held at the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

    CHESTERTOWN POLICE

    Apr. 26 Pfc B. McGinnis responded to the 300 block of Cedar Street and served a District Court Criminal Summons on Jennifer Marie Bailey, age 44, of Middle River. Bailey was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle stemming from an Apr. 4 report for a fraud and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Court date pending at the time of this report.

    Apr. 23 Ofc R. Thompson took a report for a past theft that occurred in the Washington Square Plaza. The case was active at the time of this report.

    Apr. 23 Ofc R. Thompson took a report for a past malicious destruction of property that occurred in the 400 block of High Street. The investigation was ongoing at the time of this report.

    Apr. 24 Ofc T. Burke took a report for a malicious destruction of property in the 300 block of Cannon Street. The case was active at the time of this report.

    Apr. 27 Ofc R. Thompson took a report for counterfeit currency in the 700 block of Washington Avenue. The case was under investigation at the time of this report.
