After the morning wave, we see the potential for more pop-up storms, leading to a separate SLIGHT RISK for communities south of I-96. The timing of those will be from 2 P.M. to midnight

Tuesday afternoon and evening storm potential is harder to pinpoint with location, given the nature of pop-up storms in the expected environment.

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids released the following statement on Monday:

The primary concerns for severe weather on Tuesday are damaging wind gusts and hail. An isolated tornado is not expected at this time.
