Walmart Announces It's Bringing This Popular Texas-Based Pizza Chain to 92 Stores

Mr. Gatti’s Pizza, a beloved Texas-based pizza chain, has big plans — and they involve the largest retailer in the world.

The chain has just partnered with Bentonville, Arkansas-based Walmart to introduce Mr. Gatti's restaurants into 92 Walmart stores over the next few years.

This will significantly expand the pizza chain's reach, introduce its beloved menu to new customers across multiple states, and, hopefully, entice Walmart customers to spend even more money in the store.

Expansion into Walmart stores

The pizza chain plans to open a dozen new locations in Walmart stores in north Texas and southern Oklahoma by the end of 2024.

Walmart says this strategic move is driven by its commitment to offering value and quality to its customers and recognizing Mr. Gatti's legacy — it was founded 50 years ago in Stephenville, Texas.

Growing presence across 8 states

With locations in eight states, including 46 in Texas alone, Mr. Gatti’s Pizza is set to broaden its footprint. The partnership will initially include new locations in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and Kentucky, with hopes of expanding to additional states.

This will bring Mr. Gatti's network to more than 230 locations — doubling its national presence.

New design and menu offerings

The new Mr. Gatti’s locations inside Walmart stores will have a modern design and an expanded menu. Customers can expect their favorite pizzas, wings, salads, sandwiches, and more. These locations will also offer delivery services to the surrounding communities.
