The Valley’s Jax Taylor checks into mental health treatment center as he’s ‘struggling’ after Brittany Cartwright split

VANDERPUMP Rules alum Jax Taylor has checked into an in-patient treatment facility to address mental health issues.

The Valley star has not discussed the decision, which comes months after he and wife Brittany Cartwright called it quits, with fans.

A rep for Jax , 45, confirmed his decision to TMZ on Tuesday.

“Jax has always been candid about his mental health struggles, especially during the past few months on his podcast,” his rep said.

“He has made the decision to seek in-patient treatment. This is a particularly sensitive time for him and his family. They ask for privacy and respect until he is ready to speak more on this matter.”

While Jax did not give fans a heads up about his decision to seek help, he has been open about his focus on “healing” lately.

On Monday, he shared a photo on his Instagram Story that showed two books: Get Out of Your Mind & Into Your Life and Set Boundaries, Find Peace.

Brittany and Jax made the decision to split earlier this year but things have recently gotten particularly rocky between them.

The former Vanderpump Rules stars have been living apart, splitting time with their son Cruz .

The couple has been fighting a lot over the past year, according to a previous report from TMZ.

The Valley is currently filming Season Two, which means Bravo fans will likely get a glimpse into this portion of Jax and Brittany’s lives when the show airs.

PARTY GIRL

Amid their separation, Jax and Brittany have been enjoying their respective time alone.

At the end of June, Brittany was spotted soaking up the sun during a pool party in Las Vegas.

She was in Sin City for a girl’s trip, spending time with co-star Kristen Doute at the Daylight pool at the Mandalay Bay hotel.

The mom of one wore a skimpy black bathing suit with a plunging top and short jean shorts.

She completed the look with sunglasses and her long brown hair in a ponytail.

Brittany was seen laughing and spending time with friends.

Kristen, 41, dressed in a brown swimsuit with jean shorts and her hair hanging straight down.

Brittany appeared in good spirits, at one point expressing her gratitude to a poolside attendant who helped her after she nearly stepped in broken glass near her cabana.

Jax, for his part, has been seen spending solo time with Paige Woolen several times this summer.

CALLING IT QUITS

The male model and Kentucky native have been separated since February .

In June, it was reported that Jax and Brittany might have reconciled after photos obtained by The U.S. Sun showed them enjoying time at the beach in Huntington Beach, California with their three-year-old.

The pair appeared to be on good terms, staying focused on their son and enjoying the weather.

Fans were shocked to see them together after all the time he had been spending with Paige.

He also accused Brittany of “sleeping with” someone else in a social media rant he later deleted.

“You may want to ask Brittany who she’s been sleeping with for the past 4 months….” Jax wrote on X , which fans saw before he could delete the post.

He also assured followers he’s not romantically involved with anyone at the moment.

“I am not dating anyone and I wish you all knew the full story of this situation.. its not what you think,” he wrote.
