Odessa Man Dies After Being Run Over by His Own Vehicle
ODESSA, TX — A 41-year-old Odessa man was killed after being run over by his own vehicle at a Sonic Drive-In, according to Odessa Police. According to information, Joshua Lujan, the only occupant of a black Chevrolet pickup, was parked at the Sonic located at 87th and Andrews Highway. At some point the victim exited his vehicle, the truck began to roll backwards and the victim was run over. Lujan was transported by private vehicle to Medical Center Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. His next of kin has been notified. Learn More Here.

ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - CBS7 FIRST ALERT Forecast for Tuesday, July 16th, 2024: High pressure remains in control of the weather for the next few days. On Tuesday, temperatures increase a touch more thanks to the influence of an upper-level ridge currently situated over the Four Corners. Widespread triple digits will return to the region on Tuesday. Temperatures cool slightly on Wednesday with slight rain chances. We start to see “better” conditions coming up for the end of the work week. Temperatures Thursday will take a slight tumble, back to below normal. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible Thursday through Monday with the best rain chances on Sunday. Along with these rain chances, we see cooler temperatures continuing with highs remaining in the upper-80s to low-90s. Overall, it’s not too bad as we head into the middle of July.
