SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man accused of trying to hook up with a minor for sex is facing charges in Kerr County. In a Monday release, the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office says Matthew Louis Heimer Jr., 33, of Pipe Creek was arrested after a police chase that spanned more than 30 miles.

KERRVILLE, Texas – A Bandera County man was arrested Friday on allegations that he solicited sex online from someone he thought was a 16-year-old girl. Local emergency teams to conduct active shooter drill at Schreiner on June 20
A full-scale community exercise will take place on Thursday, June 20, on the campus of Schreiner University, involving the Kerrville Police Department, Kerrville Fire Department, Kerr County Sheriff Department, EMS, Peterson, and Schreiner University. The scenario will simulate an Active Shooter Drill at Schreiner University, resulting in approximately 10 mock injuries.
