Tractor-trailer collision on I-20 leaves one dead
A deadly collision on I-20 between two tractor-trailers on Monday, June 17 killed one of the drivers and sent the other to the hospital. Kershaw County Chief Deputy Coroner Phil McLeod identified the deceased as Jaime Flores, 49, of Manassas, Va. McLeod said the collision took place around 6 p.m. that day.
Graffiti vandal arrested
Camden Police Department (CPD) officers and Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies arrested a Camden man on June 19 following a joint investigation into a string of graffiti incidents where the word “Dismal” was spray-painted and etched into glass at multiple locations throughout the city and county.
