    Raguet Elementary in Nacogdoches unveils new book vending machine

    NACOGDOCHES, Texas ( KETK ) – Raguet Elementary in Nacogdoches held a ribbon cutting for a new book vending machine to reward children for their academic excellence.

    According to a release, on Tuesday the elementary held a ribbon cutting for the book vending machine they received as a result of a $4,500 innovative grant from Nacogdoches ISD .

    According to the school, students will be able to earn tokens for good behavior or academic achievement that they will be able to use at the vending machine in exchange for books.

    “We’re so proud of this and excited too,” Raguet Elementary Principal Julia Wells said. “We’re grateful for the education foundation’s grant and the generosity of the Rotary Club. I just can’t wait for students to see this.”
