(NEXSTAR) – Taking your pet to the veterinarian’s office is never the cheapest trip in the world, but a recent report comparing prices to the pet doctor ranked the 100 largest U.S. cities from the cheapest to the most expensive—with one small Texas city ranked dead last.

The report comes from WalletHub which was trying to find the most pet-friendly city in the country and used Veterinary Care Costs as one of its major criteria.

In doing so, they found it costs more to take your pet to the vet in Plano, Texas than anywhere else in the country. With the average cost being about $108 for Veterinary Care, according to WalletHub.

The report also listed other Texas cities, which all fared a bit better than Plano. If you’d like to save roughly $30, you can head just south of Plano to Dallas where on average it costs around $80.

After Dallas, it was a three-way tie for first with Irving, Arlington, and Garland each averaging out at about $79.

The rest of the cities studied were significantly cheaper with Houston at $64, then San Antonio at $60, followed by Austin ($59) and El Paso ($58).

Two Texas cities actually landed at the top of the list for the cheapest places to take your pet to the vet in the U.S., with Corpus Christi being the fourth cheapest with the price being $51.

Fort Worth finished as the cheapest and Texas and third cheapest in the country with the price set at $50 on average.
