    1 dead after Highway 103 crash east of Lufkin

    LUFKIN, Texas ( KETK ) – The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed that one man has died and two others were injured after a 3 vehicle crash happened on State Highway 103 on Saturday.

    Body found in Titus County, sheriff’s office says

    A 2020 Honda Civic was heading east from Lufkin on State Highway 103 at around 9:45 a.m. on Saturday. The Honda reportedly crossed into the westbound lane and hit a 2022 Chevrolet wrecker and a 2022 Toyota Highlander.

    Dustin Blalock, 40 of Huntington, was driving the Honda and was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Donny Puckett.

    The Chevrolet driver was released after being treated at the scene and the driver of the Toyota had to be taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

    DPS said that their investigation is ongoing.
