    Bullard PD identifies woman, children in triple homicide

    UPDATE: The Bullard Police Department released the name of the woman and children found dead on Sunday.

    Police identified the mother as 25-year-old Tatyanna Smith and her two children Madilynn Evans, 4, and Maison Evans, 2. Smith’s 8-month-old remains in the hospital in stable condition.

    Bullard PD said all four sustained gunshot wounds and are investigating the case as a triple homicide. Officials said they are in contact with a person of interest.


    BULLARD, Texas ( KETK ) – A homicide investigation into the deaths of two children and a woman was launched in Bullard after police were dispatched to Guinn Street on Sunday afternoon.

    According to Detective Judith Tuell with the Bullard Police Department, officers were dispatched to Guinn Street and FM 344 at around 6:55 p.m. in connection to a homicide.

    Tuell said one woman and two children are dead, while another child was taken to a hospital. As of Tuesday afternoon, that child is in intensive care in stable condition.

    The police department said this is an ongoing investigation and at this time there is no threat to the public. The bodies were taken to the Southwest Institute of Forensic Science in Dallas where investigators are waiting on autopsy results.
