Gladewater rescinds boil water notice after main break

UPDATE: Gladewater has rescinded the boil water notice, residents may return to normal water usage.

UPDATE: Officials said a boil water notice has been issued for the entirety of Gladewater due to the Wednesday water main break.

“We will notify citizens when the boil notice has been lifted,” Gladewater authorities said.

GLADEWATER, Texas ( KETK ) – The City of Gladewater said due to a water main break Wednesday morning portions of the city will not have water.

Gladewater ISD officials said all students will be released early at 1 p.m. due to the S. Main Street water main break.

City officials said they will provide updates as soon as they receive them on their Facebook page.
