UPDATE: All clear given for gas leak in Gladewater

UPDATE: The City of Gladewater said the Ricks Circle gas leak was been cleared up on Thursday and the area is now safe to return to.

GLADEWATER, Texas ( KETK ) – Gladewater authorities are advising caution in part of town due to a gas leak.

Police said a leak near Ricks Circle off Highway 271 in north Gladewater is causing the issue.

People in the area are asked residents in the area to immediately extinguish burners and other flames. Anyone not in the area is asked to stay away, as roads may be blocked, barricaded or closed.
